Bienvenido a Puerto Viejo!!

Okay so there is 16% of battery left on my computer and there seem to be no outlets in this jungle. So this entry will be short and quick. Puerto Viejo is amazing. Such a small town feel and everyone is so laid back. We arrived here yesterday around 10am here and 12pm est. time (after leaving San Jose around 6am). The bus ride was 4 1/2 hours through the mountains, jungle, and coast line of Costa Rica.

Traveling by bus was definitely the way to go. Such a unique experience. Once here we walked (luggage and all) to our hostel, Rocking J's. Again, we've lucked out because this place is awesome too.

We rented bikes to explore the town and ate lunch at this Tex Mex place where is food is out of this world (going back today for lunch). Later we went rode our bikes about 12 miles down the coastline to a beach called Punta Uva.

And this place, was paradise! Talk about a computer screen saver, this was it. The water here was so unbelievably calm and clear. Absolutely no wake what so ever. We spent the majority of the day here and later biked back where we showered and went out for dinner. Later that night we experienced what the Costa Rican night life is like and let's just say by 11pm we were passed out.

So computer is at like 5% now so i'll write more once I get to Bocas tomorrow.
